Happy 4th of July! If you’ve never seen a bald eagle up close, they are really incredible. I took this picture at the Minnesota Zoo last week. This particular bird had an injury that made it unable to fly.
Maybe that’s why they were allowed to put it in the zoo. Somehow I’d thought that was illegal!

When I was on vacation, we spent a couple days at a cabin in a resort in northern Minnesota. My daughter liked the resort so much that she wrote her own commercial for it. So, I recorded it for her! (It gave me a chance to play around with iMovie for my iPhone, too!)

Not sure how I feel about this. I always prefer to use the Oxford comma simply because I think it avoids confusion.
But one thing we can all agree on: only one space after a period!
I must say, the new Tumblr iPhone app is slick. It’s the kind of thing that makes me want to use it and post more. You can’t underestimate the fun-factor in things like these. If it seems like work, I’m less likely to do it. If it’s fun, I’ll keep on going.
